VPN Use and Troubleshooting

Start with your account, subscription and client connection, then check routes, routing rules, billing and refund policies one by one. When something goes wrong, find the relevant category and follow the troubleshooting steps in order.

Account & Subscription

Account and subscriptions

When setting up an account, obtaining a subscription, refreshing the route list or changing devices, start by checking the current account status in the user panel. Subscription details are delivered as part of the account and should not be shared on public pages.

What do I need to prepare to create a VPNWC account?

No email address is required. Set a username and password to complete account setup. Your username identifies the account, while the password is used to sign in to the user panel. Choose a username that is easy to recognize and not reused with other services, and keep your password secure. You can later access plans, subscriptions and support tickets from the same user panel.

Where can I find my subscription after purchase?

Sign in to the user panel and find your current subscription details in the account overview or client download area, then import them into the client for your platform. Subscription details are linked to your account plan, so there is no need to look for static installers or public links on marketing pages. If the page still shows an old status, open the user panel again and check there.

How should I update my subscription link?

Find the current subscription in your client and use its update or refresh function so it can reload the route list. If nothing changes, copy the subscription details again from the user panel, delete the old subscription in the client, and import it again. You may want to note the route currently in use first, so you can distinguish old and new configurations while troubleshooting.

Do I need to purchase again after changing devices?

You do not need to purchase again when changing devices. VPNWC supports unlimited devices online at the same time, and the subscription linked to one account can be used on Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux. On a new device, get the subscription from the user panel and import it again. Avoid transferring subscription details through public pages or uncontrolled methods.

Connection Checks

Connections and troubleshooting

The client showing a connected status only means that the connection process has started or completed. Whether an app actually uses the current route also depends on system traffic capture, per-app settings, the local network and existing connection state.

The client says it is connected, but webpages will not open. What should I do?

First confirm that the device itself has a working internet connection. Then check whether the client has enabled the system proxy, virtual network adapter or the relevant traffic-capture mode. Reconnect through another route, then fully close and reopen the browser. If only an older page is affected, clear that page's cache. If every app is affected, check the local network, firewall software and client logs.

Why is a particular app not using the proxy?

A common cause is that the client uses per-app rules and the target app is not included, or the app established a long-lived network session before the connection was made. Check per-app settings, bypass lists and routing mode, then fully quit the app and reopen it after connecting to a route. For testing, temporarily switch to a mode that captures all traffic to confirm whether the issue comes from routing rules.

What should I do if subscription import fails or is marked invalid?

Confirm that you copied the complete subscription details currently provided in the user panel, with no missing characters at the beginning, end or middle. Do not paste subscription content into a search box or manually edit its parameters. If it still fails, delete the older subscription with the same name in the client, import it again and refresh. If you have questions about the plan status or subscription details, submit a support ticket through the user panel.

Where should I start when the connection keeps dropping?

Check whether the drops occur after switching networks, waking the device from sleep or experiencing local network instability, then try another route and protocol. When switching between mobile and wireless networks, the old connection may need to be re-established. If the issue continues, record the platform, client mode, route name and symptoms, then submit a ticket with logs after removing sensitive information.

Routes & Protocols

Speed and routes

Route performance is affected by the local access network, connection path, target region and time of use. Keep the test scenario consistent, then change routes or protocols one at a time to avoid mixing multiple variables.

How should I choose a route when speeds slow down during peak hours?

Peak-hour performance depends on the local access network, cross-border links and the target service. First compare different route types within the same region, then compare dedicated, transit and direct routes based on actual performance. If the service does not require a specific region, you can also try a geographically closer alternative. After switching, reopen the page or app in use so an old connection does not keep using the previous route.

How should I choose from 100+ countries and 170+ routes?

Start by filtering for the region required by the target service, then try routes that are nearby and stable. For everyday browsing and work, routes with simpler paths may be preferable. For streaming and region-specific content, choose the relevant region and judge by actual access results. The number of routes provides flexibility; it does not mean you need to switch frequently. If the current route is stable, keep using it.

What is the difference between dedicated, transit and direct routes?

A direct route usually connects from the local network to the target region, with a simpler path but greater sensitivity to changes in cross-border links. A transit route connects to an intermediate entry point before reaching the target region to adjust routing. Dedicated routes focus on link quality and stability. Choose based on your network, target region and time of use rather than relying on the route name alone.

The streaming page opens, but the content will not play. What should I do?

Confirm that the route region matches the content region, then fully quit the streaming app or close the browser page before reconnecting and opening it again. If the account region, cache or location data still reflects the previous state, the page and playback result may differ. Try another route in the same region and check the server page for streaming support details.

How should I choose between protocols?

Protocol choice depends on the device system, local network and use case. If connections take a long time to establish, fail to recover after switching networks or use more power than expected, try another protocol supported by the client and compare it on the same route. Do not change the route, protocol and routing rules at the same time, or it will be difficult to identify what improved the result. See the protocol reference page for a detailed comparison.

Billing & Refunds

Billing and refunds

Monthly subscriptions and data packages follow different traffic rules. Before purchasing, upgrading or requesting a refund, check the plan name, order status and selected payment method in the user panel.

What monthly subscription plans are available?

Monthly subscriptions include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB. All three are monthly plans, with traffic resetting each month on the activation date. Choose based on your typical usage rather than a single peak, and check the current plan status in the user panel before changing tiers.

Does traffic in a data package reset every month?

No. Data packages remain valid until used and never expire. Options include ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB and ¥658/3000GB. They follow different traffic rules from monthly subscriptions, which reset each month on the activation date, so choose according to your usage pattern. Before purchasing, confirm on the plan page whether the selected option is a monthly subscription or a data package.

When does monthly subscription traffic reset?

Monthly subscription traffic resets each month on the activation date rather than according to the calendar month. When checking usage, follow the current billing period shown in the user panel. Unused monthly subscription traffic follows different rules from never-expiring data packages, so confirm which type you are using before assessing the remaining traffic.

How is a plan upgrade handled mid-cycle?

For a mid-cycle monthly subscription upgrade, the price difference is converted into remaining days. Before proceeding, check the current and target plans in the user panel, then continue to plan selection once the details are correct. An upgrade changes the tier within the current subscription period; creating a duplicate order is not recommended because it can make the plan status difficult to verify.

Which payment methods are supported?

VPNWC supports Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. At checkout, enter through the plan page in the user panel and pay using the available method shown there at the time. Do not pay using off-site transfer details or links from unknown sources. If the order status does not match the payment result, keep the order information and submit a ticket through the user panel for verification.

How do I request a refund?

VPNWC offers a 30-day no-questions-asked refund. To request one, sign in to the user panel, open the support ticket area, select the order-related issue, provide the relevant order details and refund request, and submit it. Keep the order information complete for verification, and do not paste subscription details or account credentials on public pages. You can track progress in the ticket.
